What a strong Plan of Action actually contains
Amazon's reviewers evaluate POAs against a simple rubric, and you can write to it yourself. Here is the structure, honestly explained. If you'd rather have it done for you, that's what we sell, but this guide is complete on its own.
The three required sections
1. Root cause
One or two sentences stating plainly what went wrong, in your operations, not in Amazon's judgment. "Our supplier changed and we failed to re-verify authenticity documentation" is a root cause. "A competitor filed false complaints" might even be true, but as a root cause statement it reads as deflection and correlates with rejection.
2. Corrective actions (past tense)
What you have already done, with dates: removed the listings, disposed of the inventory, obtained new invoices, retrained who does what. Future tense here is the single most common failure: "we will implement" reads as "we have not implemented."
3. Preventive measures
The system change that makes recurrence implausible: a new supplier verification step, a listing review checkpoint, an inventory audit cadence. Specific and operational, not aspirational.
What to cut
- Everything about how long you've sold, your rating, your family, your livelihood. True, sympathetic, and irrelevant to the rubric.
- Arguments that Amazon is wrong (unless you are formally disputing the facts, which is a different document with a different strategy).
- Padding. A tight one-page POA outperforms four pages of throat-clearing.
Evidence: reference it, label it
Attach invoices and documents named plainly ("supplier-invoice-march.pdf"), and reference each one from the text. A reviewer who can verify your claim in ten seconds is a reviewer moving toward yes.
When to get help
If you've already been rejected once, if the notice cites multiple violation types, or if you can't tell what Amazon is actually alleging, a diagnosis is worth more than another guess: each rejected appeal makes the next reviewer more skeptical.
Your account is suspended and every hour costs you sales
Diagnosis, $199, one business day: why Amazon actually suspended you, what their notice is really asking for, and whether your case is winnable. Credits in full toward the Complete POA Package ($499) if you proceed.
